Dr. Carter's classroom is tastefully decorated with white tablecloths and rose centerpieces. Food and drink are available for those who want it, the items ranging from some food from Deb's (brownies and lemon bars, bleu cheese pear puffs and shrimp spread on triscuits) to more vampire/demon friendly food from NPCed places that thoughtfully deliver ( Read more... )

"That's my gang," Angelus did not leer at her throat because he's lived with Dara gave Beka a look of concern. "Johnny did come through, right? We can't have the sale without him."

"It makes me all glowy inside when you call us that. Daddy." Beka fluttered her eyelashes and fought back a grin. "Haven't seen Johnny yet, but last I heard it was a go. I can comm him if you're concerned."

"Nope," Angelus took a step back to indicate he was removing himself from that responsibility. "I delegated that to Anakin and I'll trust that he's got a handle on it. But thank you. How's it going for you this weekend? Everything all right after... you know?"

"He does. Got an email from him about it last night. And I'll be around much of the day to help him." Beka waggled a hand to indicate 'so-so'. "In the main, it's fine. Under control. But my roommate could use a trustworthy therapist. Someone who won't ask too many awkward questions about her...family."

Beka bit her lip thoughtfully. "Still. Might be preferable if you trust him. She's gotten into a bit of trouble missing classes and needs someone to say she's been too emotionally traumatized to go. The therapy itself could be handled by other means."
