Second Floor Common Room, Sunday Morning

Apr 08, 2012 09:11

Anna wasn't really very good at the whole 'sense of time' thing, the product of not sleeping or eating and having been stuck in a house alone for so very long. She was getting better about it as she went along, but she was sure she'd missed some of her classes and work shifts along the way, and while she knew today was a Sunday, she hadn't realized it was Easter just yet.

She had, however, realized that it was the end of hockey season, and felt bad about forgetting she could keep up with it now. So she was flipping through the sports and news channels, trying to find something that could bring her up to date and thinking that she really had to learn to use a computer one of these days. She bet there was more information there.

Competitive cheerleading (That was a thing? The twenty-first century was so weird)...golf...English soccer...aha! Hockey news!...wait. "That can't be right," she informed the TV. "How can the Maple Leafs not have made the playoffs? They're from Toronto! They're supposed to be good at this!"

Oh, Anna, sweetie. You have so much to learn.

((Open like a common room with a slightly crestfallen ghost in it on Easter morning! This video is always relevant.))
