Gabrielle really appreciated having down time that wasn't of the 'making camp for the night before hitting the road on another incredibly dangerous adventure' variety. She also appreciated modern amenities like food delivery and television, so why not combine all three?
This was the sort of brilliant idea that led to things like containers from Taste of Thai covering half a table in the common room while Gabrielle sat on the couch idly flipping through channels -- and skipping past anything on the History Channel that had to do with Rome, thanks.
