"Huh, what?" Tara asked, with a little wave as she wandered in and started looking for tea. "... are you watching RuPaul?"

She ... shouldn't have been surprised.

"You know who it is?" Oh god, Tara. Run while you still can.

"Kind of?" Tara ventured. "It's a TV show about ... men who dress up as women."

she found the tea, plunked bag in cup. "Most of them are, um, b-better at girly stuff than I am."

Loki looked from her to the television to give that serious thought. "Some. Others less so."

"... is that an insult or a compliment?" Tara didn't sound like she cared that much. "And how are you, now that we're back in the cold?"

"Much happier!" Even if he missed the fruits... "And I believe it would be a compliment. A lady's beauty lay in how she looks beneath the trappings of femininity."

There was a pause.

"At least, that is what the blogs have told me."

"You're reading inner beauty blogs," Tara repeated, considering it. "... well, I guess it might, um, help bring you up to date. So, uh, thanks."

"I think the Lady Sif would have some firm words with the ladies concerning acting on their concerns." A beat. "Most likely with a sword."

"Like, take a sword to Rush Limbaugh?" Tara suggested helpfully. "I think there's a line for that."

"Is he an annoyance to women?" Loki needed to learn more about Midgardian politics, it seemed.

Tara snorted. Hard. "Um. That's ... sort of a nice way to put it? Mostly he just says totally mean things on the radio. About everybody, but especially about girls."

"I will have to find out more about him." And troll his website. Maybe.

"Might make you sick to your stomach," Tara cautioned. "Politics pretty much suck."

"Oh, they're just lies on a wider scale." Which was nice, if you asked him.

"I guess," Tara said, and squinted at him. "You look way too happy about that."

"It would be fun to do!" Fear it, Tara. "Though, I think it would make my brother cross."
