Momoko was determined to make up for all the hours she had spent indoors watching that AWESOME new sentai series, and the radio this morning had left her with no illusions that this was 'one of those weekends', which promised much entertainment. So she set up the sun umbrella to keep any rain off of her, and was sitting on the deck with a ton of ( Read more... )

A jumbo marshmallow arcs through the air to bounce off of her head.

Stealthily!

Momoko blinked and looked up from the manga to stare at the umbrella - Yes, it's still there - then to her lap. A marshmallow? "It's raining marshmallows now?"

She looked out onto the island, curious and eager. The idea of toasted marshmallows was suddenly totally awesome!

There does not appear to be a rain of marshmallows. Even though another one arcs through the air toward her.

"Eh?" Okay. If it wasn't raining marshmallows, the only other option was, "Jaime Reyes, are you bored?"

She tried to frown as she turned around to try to find him, he was wasting food after all, but her grin was fairly evident.

Jaime snickered.

But didn't answer.

Though he did toss another marshmallow at her.

It bopped her on the nose.

"Hey!" was a girl gonna have to pout? "Are you trying to lure me into some weird trap?" Ooh, she hadn't thought of it, but maybe he wasn't himself...

She reached for her camera. "That is you, right, Jaime?"

Another snicker.

And another marshmallow.

But still no answer.

And Momoko caught that one, now with an idea of where he was at... not that she could have missed him considering how badly he was hidden.

She popped the marshmallow in her mouth and reached for the package of Oreos beside her. Whispering a small apology to the Nabisco people, she rips it open and flings a couple in Jaime's direction.

Please keep in mind, Jaime, she uses a YO-YO while flying. Throwing cookies in a straight line? Not gonna be much of a challenge.

The first one hit him right in the forehead. He managed to deflect the second one, and smirk triumphantly. Only to get hit by two more.

Mostly because of that smirk.

"Ready to surrender?" She had more cookies. Also other supplies. "You're totally wasting good marshmallows, you know!"

"You're talking to me about wasting snacks?" he snorted. "While throwing cookies at me?"

"I'm only throwing your share!" And he didn't eat sandwich cookies properly, so they would be wasted anyway.

"Oh, so you're just wasting the ones I was going to give you?" he teased, taking a few steps toward her.

"They're my cookies; how were you going to give me any?" She huffed, teasingly, as she tossed one more at him so he could catch it... if he wanted.

"You just said they were my share," he laughs, catching that last one and popping it into his mouth.

"The ones I was going to share with you." She sighed, shaking her head in (fond) despair as he ate the thing whole. "See? Totally disrespecting the cookie!"
