"This is what it was made for," Kyle replied. He was using his elbow to try to pry the washer door open.

"I don't want to break school property," he said, yanking his arm out before it got crushed. The machine had a surprising amount of strength. "Again."

"Not like they never cared before," George pointed out, jumping off the table to go help (finally). "You want me t'try t'hold it up?"

"Try putting this shirt in there," Kyle suggested. He tossed the shirt at George and took a few steps away from the machine.

"If ye tell me t'put my pants in next, I'm goin' t'want dinner first," he teased, grinning over at Kyle.

With a shake of his head, he pulled off his shirt and tried to open the washing machine...and almost threw himself across the room when it opened with barely any strength at all.

The machine took the opportunity to spit the clothes back out at Kyle. A dirty sock landed on his head. Kyle was very unimpressed.

"You spoke too soon, George."

"...Mithros' balls," he cursed, leaning down to look into the laundry machine. "Ye don' have a tongue! How d'ye spit things out?" George complained then yelped in pain as the machine slammed its lid back down on George's head.

"It didn' hate me afore!" George complained, kicking the machine in the side for a resounding clang.

"It's probably because you're with me. We've had," he glanced at the washer, "issues since I got here."
