Romantic comedies weren't really Bobby's thing either, but pizza and cheesecake? That was more like it.

Of course, unlike Kennedy, there had been no obstacle-coursing for Bobby today, so he was rather energetic as he made his way into the room and helped himself to some of the food.

"What's on?" he asked, forgoing things like "hello", apparently.

"Some romcom thing," Kennedy replied, lolling her head back over the arm of the couch to glance at him. "I just didn't feel like going after the remote. What's up, pizza thief?"

As if she didn't swipe other people's food without asking herself.

"Not much," Bobby shrugged. "Just, you know. Keeping busy." Trying not to worry about whatever-it-was that Sookie was helping Rinoa with. "And if you didn't want to share the pizza with me, you wouldn't have put it where I could reach it." Duh.

"Yeah, I hear you," Kennedy told him with a knowing look. "But pizza's good for keeping busy. As are..."

She frowned at the TV. "Weirdly adorable yet schmoopy movies."

"Huh," Bobby tilted his head at the television. "You're right. There's something oddly compelling about it."

"Hell if I know why," Kennedy complained. "You'd think this would be all depressing, and it's not."

"I know, it's like, if 90% of your action takes place in a hospital, it seems like a no-brainer, and yet. Hah!" Some romcoms kind of fell short on the "com" part of the equation. This one, apparently? Did not.

Kennedy groaned and flicked a stray piece of sausage at him. "Bobby. That was terrible."

"...You didn't find that funny?" Bobby asked, completely missing the fact that he had punned there.

"I did, actually. But it was still pretty bad," Kennedy told him. "Which this movie, much to my surprise... isn't really. Either that or there's something wrong with me. Oh, god. Do I have gremlin bite marks?"

"Not that I can see," Bobby squinted at her. "And I'm not risking your- or my- girlfriend's wrath to check the places I can't."

"Tchah," scoffed Kennedy. "You'd have to worry about risking mine first, if you tried. Good thing you're smarter than that."

Or possibly just lazy.

"Like you could take me."

"Oh, you know I so could," Kennedy shot back. "You're just lucky I'm tired right now."

"Tired, sure, if that's what you wanna call it," Bobby smirked, flicking a bit of cheese in Kennedy's direction.

"Some of us aren't lazy," Kennedy shot back, swatting at the cheese. Plus side, she connected. Minus side, it was stuck to her hand now, and she scowled and started to peel it off.

Tsk, children. Flinging food around.

"Some of us busted our asses doing training stuff today, but that--" she gave him a conspiratorial grin-- "is more my thing than yours anyway, so I guess I'll let you slide."
