Leda's bike didn't require the same kind of maintenance that most bikes required. For one thing, it ran on magic, rather than gasoline. Also it didn't have an internal combustion engine in the traditional sense. Instead there was a rectangular object, roughly the size and shape of a cigar box wired and taped to the under carriage.
At least it had wheels now.
But it did require maintenance. Which was easier here were both technology and magic worked just as they were supposed to.
Leda had Christmas music (Transiberian Orchestra to be precise) on the seedy box as she checked for rust, oiled those things that needed to be oiled, and recharged the spell box.
