Observant gun clubbers would note that, today, the usual fixed targets at the end of the range had been replaced with little circular targets on metal cables. "We've talked about shooting to wound or disable, and how difficult that can be, so today we're going to practice hitting targets that move." She grinned. This was going to be fun.
"And so that we know if you hit..." Makita held up rifles that had been reworked to use paint pellets. "If you're used to handguns, grab a rifle. If you're a sniper, pick a smaller fire-arm. Choose what color you want to be, and see how often you hit the target, and how often you hit a wall, which would cause ricochet, and pray you didn't hit a friend on the rebound."
Triela nodded. "The two of us will be watching, so don't think you can ignore safety just because we're using paint. Guns are not toys. We might also provide some tips or pointers for anyone who seems to need it." Or just anyone, really. Triela was happy to provide criticism, after all!
