Sparring? Awesome. Kennedy had been out patrolling regularly for the past several nights with nothing to show for it, which-- of the good, on one hand, but on the other, not so much for taking her off edge. Supposedly everything had been resolved, but she wasn't convinced enough to completely stand down yet.

Constance had missed out on a major opportunity to wind her Potential down a few impatient notches by not telling her how the regular patrols she wasn't technically supposed to do anyway would put a serious cramp in her social life.

So yeah, Kennedy was a little tired-looking and tense, but at least there was food on hand, and she was holding onto a gargantuan red eye from the Perk that wasn't going to last long at this rate.

Unlike certain cranky and annoying Potential Slayers in the vicinity, Tahiri was in a fairly good mood -- perceptibly better than she'd been in for quite a while, maybe -- even if she was worried about Ben and Karla and Ender. (Mildly worried; it'd only been a day, at least from her point of view. Then again, she knew how weird time got every time she headed out.)

She'd missed out on Fight Club last weekend, and given the differences in her reactions and mentality already, a spar would be interesting.

By the end of the meeting, she finally worked up the gumption to walk over to Arthur. It was something of a different girl than he might remember. She mostly kept her eyes down and one arm was wrapped around her own waist self-consciously.

"I have some notes. Things. Schematics. Been working on them. You're welcome to them."
