Second Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Tony had several pizzas and a few bomb bottles of soda out in the common room and was settled on the couch to watch the long-awaited new episode of Darkest Night. Tonight, they'd find out who survived last fall's cliffhanger episode! (Spoiler alert: Raymond Dark and James Taylor Grant totally survived.) Plus, they'd see Amanda Tapping guest

Dinah was there, wriggling in excitement, and kept checking the clock to see how much time was left. "Waaaay too long since the last ep." She had a huge glass of Diet Coke and a piece of pizza she was happily nomming. "And have you talked to Lee since People came out?"

"Didn't you read all the spoilers?" Tony teased. "Yeah, we handwavily talked on Thursday and Saturday. Oh, and Sunday."

"But they could be wrong!" Dinah protested. "And awwwwww. Sweeeet." She grinned. "You guys are single-handedly keeping Skype going, aren't you."

"Someone's gotta," Tony grinned. "How've you been doing?"

"Not bad." Okay. Mostly true. "Better? Weird. Went drinking with Griff on Saturday, celebrated his birthday late." She fidgeted, then blurted, "Went dress shopping with Jaime."

"Why did Jaime need a dress?" Tony asked.

Dinah snickered. "No, he got a tux! I wanted a dress in case I go to the Valentine's Dance after all. I just wanted a guy's opinion. Is all." Really!

"Uh-huh. So you asked the straight boy instead of your gay BFF?" Tony gave her a raised eyebrow.

Dinah might've been blushing but she still managed to smirk and say, "I haven't wanted to mention, Tony, but you dress like a Canadian P.A."

"Hey! I have style. I just like to conserve it for special occasions." He took a bite of pizza, then added, "You know, by the rules of American television, I should've given you a makeover by now."

"Like Mardi Gras?" Dinah grinned and took a drink of her soda, just in time to splutter-choke at that second comment. A lot.

Tony grinned. "Is Jaime going to the dance with anyone?" he asked innocently.

See, why couldn't he have asked about drinking with Griff? Why? "Dunno," Dinah said once she had her breath back. "He was thinking of asking someone as a friend." Possibly more glum than a simple statement like that warranted.

"Uh-huh," Tony said thoughtfully. "And this displeases you?"

"No," Dinah said, not sounding defensive at all, no, seriously. "He should go with whoever makes him feel comfortable." She was quiet for a minute, and then blurted, "He's good buds with Momoko."
