Yay, snowball fight! Woo! Dinah was definitely up for this. Also, drinking enough hot chocolate to stay warm.

Raven settled off to the side, her back against a tree as she closed her eyes and summoned her Soul-Self. It would protect her against any snowballs that anyone happened to send her way.

... Yes. Okay. He hadn't been avoiding this conversation, he just hadn't been in the same room with Karla except for magic reserves last week, since the whole phone... business.

"Arthur?" Karla responded with polite neutrality. Their last interaction hadn't been horrid, which had come as a pleasant surprise. "Is this about the message?"

She, of course, meant the email about Merlin's party, not having realized that there was another message it could be about.
