Third floor common room- Wednesday night

After a lot of work (some involving a showerhead, don't ask, and no not dirty) throughout the day, Jaina had decided she had to get out of her room for a while. So she'd just gone to the common room, made herself a sandwich, and started reading a report on her datapad with the TV on for noise

Kaylee was about to say something when she bounded in, and then she heard the television.

"...can that happen?" she asked, staring at the TV. "What if I'm growin' a baby an' I don't know?"

"Take a test," Jaina said. "Though from the sounds of it, that's too hard for some people to do."

"What if it's a hidden pregnancy?" Kaylee asked, deciding that was a thing now. "What if they all got secret babies growin' in 'em, an' that's why they don't know?"

Jaina looked over at her. "You think there's an epidemic of secret babies?"

"I dunno everything 'bout babies!" Kaylee told her. "Maybe it's somethin' that happens."

[solo_sword]

"I think that'd be on the rare side," she decided, and was beginning to wonder how she knew more about kids than other people. How had that happened?

"They made a show 'bout it," Kaylee pointed out, gesturing to the TV.

"I think they made a show about some really stupid people," Jaina countered.

"Well, they do that a lot," she noted. "Most people on TV are stupid, I think."

"You've seen reality TV before, huh?" She assumed.

"I like th'ones with the pretty models!" Kaylee told her excitedly. "An' the ones with the boy who's got the flowers for the ladies an' they're all competing an' it's romantical."

Kaylee, your praise of The Bachelor is sad.

"I have no idea what that second thing is," Jaina said slowly. She didn't point out that 'romantical' was not a word.

"This show makes me feel really lucky to be a guy," Clark told her, exhaling in his horror of the show.

"It makes me scared t'be a girl!" Kaylee said, wide-eyed. "What if this happens all th'time?"

"Only way to be sure's not to have any sex." Wouldn't Mr. Bond be proud? Clark had learned something already. "Uh, or so I hear."

"That ain't no fun," Kaylee decided, pouting. "There's gotta be 'nother way!"
