Sookie did everything she could to not raise her brows at the language there. "Well, she shouldn't have done it in the first place. It's amoral and she's got a ton of money already, doesn't she? Why does she need more?"
"Because some people never think they have enough," Elle said. "They always want more than what they have, even if what they have is more than good enough."
"I just didn't think Martha Stewart was one of those people," Sookie said sadly. "She's the reason I know how to make a centerpiece out of a couple pinecones and some construction paper!"
"I'm Elle," she replied with a smile. "And hey, I don't mind. Wouldn't sit here and listen if I did." She shrugged. "Plus meeting new people? Always worth it."
"Why are you talking to the TV?" Elle asked as she wandered in, plopping down on a couch.
