Third floor common room, Saturday evening

The week before, Leto had been given a DVD by professor Mitchell, which was supposed to clarify certain questions Leto had had regarding British comedy. He hadn't had the opportunity to watch this until now. So this evening Leto was seated on the couch in front of the TV, watching Dark Serpent, the frown on his face increasing.

Arthur was on his way into the common room when he caught the Teevee on. He'd have walked off if it wasn't for Leto's particular cry of confusion, which meant he'd have to come over just to see what all the fuss was about. "It took you a while to realise it," he said, conversationally.

Television drew Tony like flame drew moths. "Oh, cool, Dark Serpent!" he exclaimed, dropping down on the couch.

Fiona was only coming to the common room in an attempt at being social, but finding Leto there made her trot over a little quicker. Laptop under one arm, she smiled and nodded to the seat next to him.

"Hey. Nice to see you're all right after yesterday. Not that-- I knew you would be."

Her company was more enjoyable than the TV show. Leto smiled at her and reached out to slip an arm around her shoulders. "You know how to look after yourself too."

He shot a wary look at the laptop, though.

She pulled just far enough away to put the laptop on the coffee table before returning to the spot, leaning happily against him.

"I do. But mutant alligators aren't the most common thing, even for me."
