It was probably later than it should be for loud music, but Buffy needed something to work with as she finished packing up for tomorrow. For some reason she seemed to be missing a lot of shoes and she needed inspiration to find them that wasn't "I'll just buy a replacement pair," and a beat was that motivation ( Read more... )

"Hey," Jen yelled, sticking her head out of the cabin from her wing, "keep it down out there, would y -- oh, hi, Buffy."

She somehow felt a little weird yelling at someone who'd seen her as a gecko.

Don't ask how Jen's brain worked sometimes.

Maybe because this school tended not to have those. Oh well, she was a senior, what did she care?

"That would make sense if they were the people who actually had to be up for classes that happen over a three-day weekend, but they're on the other side of the campground," Jen replied. "Or should be, anyway."

She'd actually remembered she couldn't cite people for noise violations. It was a minor miracle.
