Jon had, for a few very wonderful hours, managed to forget about the weird. And then he wandered into the common room on his floor. He stared at the polar bear for a few minutes and then sat on the couch as far from the bear as he could get.

"You know, they really should put some of this stuff in the brochure."

Jon grabbed the bottle and set it on the couch beside him. He'd wait a bit before trying to open it. "You do this often?"

Marco considered the question and then nodded. Whether he watched a lot of Star Battles or turned into a polar bear often was up to interpretation.

Diana nodded. "Uh huh. One of the most exciting thing that ever happened at my old high school was when the gym teacher was caught having an affair with the geography teacher." And the thing with the football team, the angel causing snowflake, and the variety of other events that were absolutely not Diana's fault.

"Someone blew up the guys locker room at my last school." And he actually had nothing to do with it. Well, besides showing the kids where to find the cookbook online.
