He was very generous with other people's time, it seemed. And, after the last week, he could hardly glare at Hannibal too much, though he wasn't exactly displeased to see that he seemed to be trying to hide some bruises.

It was a good thing Sam's bitchface wasn't lethal, because John was getting the full force of it at the moment.
