Normally, Dōjima wouldn't worry about a laundry strike. That's why she owned acres of clothing, so that she didn't need to worry about what to wear. But stuff was missing from her closet, and the only clean things left were her clubbing gear or her workout clothes.

Which is why she was all dressed up, sprawled on a couch while watching Steel

Ino was... in her pajamas. Not because she was missing her clothing, but because a) they were comfy and b) she'd felt like it.

"Is there pain and doom in that?" she asked while wandering over to poke around for something to munch on. "If a movie has pain and doom I'm a lot less likely to be bored. Hi, Dōjima-san."

"Pain, doom, and total humiliation of the bad guys," Dōjima said cheerfully. "Ohaiyo, Yamanaka-san. Grab a seat!"

She wandered out from the kitchen area with a few chocolate covered granola bars in her hand and flopped down in one of the chairs.

"See, now, that makes this worth watching," Ino laughed as she unwrapped a bar. "I tend to get bored with movies pretty easy, so yeah, but that sounds fun."

"You should like this, then. Lots of people hitting each other, all in the name of justice!" Dōjima laughed. "It's called 'Steel Simian', and supposedly it's based on a true story."

"Justice, or just wanting to win?" She grinned. "Rather big difference there, don't you think?"

Dōjima grinned and struck a pose as best she could while lounging around in a mini-skirt and tank top. "Justice!" she insisted. "It's all about social justice, and kicking the crap out of the corrupt government."

"All governments are corrupt," she said, laughing at the pose. "Just some are less than others 'cause they're at least trying not to be."

[dojima_hime]

"Or some of them are upfront about the fact they're jerks," Dōjima agreed. "You should have seen my last Prime Minister. That guy was a real piece of work."

"But you knew about it," she said, nodding. "And so you can work with it. It's the ones that pretend not to be that are harder 'cause you don't know when they'll bite you in the ass."

Hurley gave a wave to Ino. "Hey," he said. "Thanks again for talkin' with me, the other day."

"I heard radio," Ino said, frowning at him. "And you're still thanking me?"

She stood by her opinion being right, but he kinda confused her.

"...well, you were right. Even if it sucks," Hurley said.

"It does suck," she agreed. "And I'm, you know, sorry 'bout poking holes in your happy news and stuff."

But she'd do it again.

Hurley nodded. "Better do it now then let me get hurt worse later, right?"

"Pretty much," Ino admitted. "You don't deserve to get hurt 'cause of that. And Penelope's got her own issues she needs to figure out before anything else."

"We all got issues," Hurley said with a shrug.
