Normally, Dōjima wouldn't worry about a laundry strike. That's why she owned acres of clothing, so that she didn't need to worry about what to wear. But stuff was missing from her closet, and the only clean things left were her clubbing gear or her workout clothes.

Hurley wandered into the common room, now down to wearing a robe over some pajamas. Tomorrow's work would be... interesting.

"Hey," he said, before he plopped onto a couch. Then he realized what she was wearing. "Wow."

Dōjima glanced up and offered a quick wave. He had been in her cooking class... Henry? No. "Hey, Hurley," she answered. "Hope you don't mind kung-fu."

"Dude, who minds kung fu?" Hurley said. "We worked together in cooking class once, yeah?"

Dōjima grinned and nodded. "Yup!" she answered. "I even passed the class, too. I don't know how, but I did!"

Hurley chuckled. "Come on, it wasn't that hard."

[dojima_hime]

"I burn ramen," Dōjima intoned mock-seriously. "I'm lucky nothing caught fire during class. Well, okay, there was that one time, but it was supposed to be on fire! Cal said so!"

"But seriously, unless the directions call for it to be on High in the microwave for about two min, then I'm screwed."

"This is why God invented delivery," Hurley said with a smile.

[dojima_hime]

"True," she acknowledged. "I have half the town on speed-dial, I swear. I think the sushi place has my credit card number memorized."

"That just makes it easier," Hurley said. "And tastier."

[dojima_hime]

"Faster delivery, too," Dōjima said smugly. "Even the places that don't normally deliver will come up to the dorms, if you tip right and order on a regular basis."

"Awesome," Hurley said. "See? No problem at all."
