Wearing pajamas and bringing popcorn with him, Teddy was looking forward to some horrible Scifi Channel original movies tonight.

Imagine his surprise when there was someone else in the room. And he was in his pajamas. That had Spider-Man on the shirt.

Crap. "Hello."

"Evening," Aravis said, smiling at his appearance.

Not that she had any room to be laughing or anything, given that she was in her nightgown and dressing gown. But they didn't have Spider-Man on the front.

"Popcorn?" Teddy offered, trying to figure out a way to distract from the pajamas.

"Certainly. Candy?" she offered, holding out some Red Vines.

"Cool!" Teddy grinned and sat down on the couch, gratefully taking some candy and putting the popcorn closer to her. "What are you watching?"

"I've not decided," she admitted, offering the remote. "Have you anything in mind? I haven't been keeping up with television like I should."

"Mansquito is on Scifi Channel," Teddy said far too gleefully. He changed the channel to that mid-questionable production quality scene.

Aravis tilted her head sharply to one side.

"...what did you call this?"

"Mansquito. Part man, part mosquito." Cinema gold.

"...like a centaur or a faun, but with...insects," she said slowly.

"...yes," Teddy replied slowly. "But more violent, I think. It's probably edited."

"Excellent," Aravis said, grinning. "Well, not about the editing. But the violence. From what I've come to understand of television in the last year and a half, the more ridiculously violent it is, the more amusing."

"Exactly! You'll like this channel. Everything makes no sense and there's a lot of people getting blown up or mutated."

"Oooooh. I've seen very few blowings-up," she admitted.

"You haven't been watchign the right movies then," Teddy decided. "There are so many violent movies that involve that."

"I tend to like the ones with swords and other sharp objects," she admitted. "Familiarity and all that."
