Whatever Hinata's feelings were about the subject, Jack had no problems looting other common rooms for food...or anywhere else for food.

Jack checked the fridge. "Hope you like ham and salami, because that's what we got. And mayo." Ooh, bread. Plates, even. Jack began to assemble a sandwich...slightly smaller than his normal sandwiches. Hinata's mouth wasn't as big as his own. "Get a sandwich or two in you, and you'll be all right," Jack rattled as he started stacking meat and cheese.

He watched the girl with a growing sense of relief as his(/her) stomach protested the extended fast they'd been enduring. "Thank you for this. I'm usually Bumblebee."

He looked at the sandwich hungrily, but didn't yet eat, waiting for Jack so that he could learn by example - no sense in doing something badly or wrong if he could be patient and find out how to, first.

Figuring out how to chew was easier when he tried not to think about it, he realized after a moment, finally chewing a mouthful of sandwich with an almost beatific expression. "Mmmph."

Somehow, his had vanished. He brushed a few errant crumbs off his shirt and tried not to think about how he normally did not get crumbs on his shirt and his mind was not going there except that it did. "Um." Not blushing. "Let me know if you want another."
