Lupus Campfire, Thursday Night

The rain was threatening, again, and the day was cool enough that Ella was wearing a cloak over her blouse and skirt. But she'd spent too much time reading in her alcove lately, and wanted to spend more time outdoors before they left the cabins entirely. She neatly built a small campfire, half-wishing she'd bought some marshmallows to roast over it

Sokka plopped down. "Ella! Hi! Got any s'mores?"

[ella_obeys]

"Turtle asked the same thing," Ella said. "I didn't see the marshmallows in the kitchen."

"And hi, Sokka."

[sarcasm_guy]

"Now, see, that's a shame. What good is a fire without marshmallows, huh? Do we at least have bits of meat to put on a stick?"

[ella_obeys]

"I don't think so," Ella said, not disturbed at all. How would you feed yourself around a fire if not with meat on a stick? Then she turned to talk to Turtle, and, after a run to the cabin, returned to Sokka. "We found some marshmallows! The scarcity was a false alarm."

[sarcasm_guy]

"WOO!" Sokka pumped a fist in the air. "Score one for the Ellanator! Never get between a man and his mallows!"

[ella_obeys]

Ella grinned at the new nickname. "I'll remember that," she said. It wasn't as if it would be a hard order to follow. "Which is good, as I was considering keeping all the marshmallows for myself."

[sarcasm_guy]

"Uhhhhh-huh. Sure you were." Sokka grinned at her. "THAT wouldn't have lasted very long around here."

[ella_obeys]

Ella giggled. "And if I swore to defend the marshmallows with my life?"

[sarcasm_guy]

"Then I hope you're a reeeeally good fighter. Being forced to break an oath is a terrible thing."
