Lupus Campfire - Tuesday Evening

Lois didn't have any problem with starting campfires. Cooking on said campfires? Little more of a problem. Since there was a surprising lack of marshmallows around, she managed to steal of box of somebody's graham crackers from the cabin. Lois was currently laying against a log with the box of graham crackers in her lap. She was trying not to eat

Ella looked rather smug as she took a seat at the campfire. "Hello!" she said cheerily to no one in particular, then settled in against a tree, squinting a little at her book in the gathering dark.

"Hi!" Lois said back. "You know, if you get a little closer to the fire you would be able to see better."

[ella_obeys]

"But where's the fun in that?" Ella joked, moving closer to the flames anyhow.

[armybrat_lois]

"You're right. Who doesn't love squinting?" Lois asked. She offered the box of graham crackers to Ella. "Want a stolen graham cracker?"

[ella_obeys]

"Sure," Ella said, reaching for a cracker and holding it to inspect it in the firelight. "Who are we stealing them from?"

[armybrat_lois]

"I have no idea. Somebody in my cabin," Lois said, shrugging. "Most of them seem to be more interested in their alcohol than their food so I figure there isn't too much harm done."

Ella considered Lois for a moment. "If this is your cabin, we're in the same one," she told her. "I'm Ella. Not one of the drunkards, though this place may change that."

She bit into the cracker.

"Oh. Sorry about that," Lois said, not sounding too sorry about it at all. "I'm Lois. And, yes, I'm in this cabin."

[ella_obeys]

"About what?" Ella asked, crunching on her cracker. "And good to meet you. I think I almost know everyone, now."

[armybrat_lois]

"For accusing you of being a drunk," Lois said. Not that she had any right of accusing anybody of being a drunk. "I barely know anybody in this cabin. Usually I hang out where the food is."

[ella_obeys]

"I didn't hear it that way," Ella reassured her. "I go to different campfires for food too, but from Lupus I've met ... you, Rikku, Reno, Sokka, Ron. So I think I'm only missing two?"

[armybrat_lois]

"I think so. So far I've only met you," Lois said. "But my history of sex teacher wants me to meet that Ron kid. Because apparently I sound 'hot and dirty'. Whatever that means."

Lois knew what that meant. Just let her play innocent, okay?

Ella didn't know, but she could kind of guess. "Whatever it means," she agreed. "He has red hair and an accent. We talked about elves a lot."

[armybrat_lois]

"Elves, huh?" Lois asked. "Like the short cookie-making kind?"

If those kind of elves were real Lois was so going to catch one.

[ella_obeys]

"His are servants, so they might make cookies," Ella said thoughtfully. "The ones back home aren't that short..."

[armybrat_lois]

"Wow. What a week it's been for me. I find out that aliens and elves are real," Lois said, chuckling. "I like this school more and more each day."
