Sam was in the lobby today, with pastries, prom tickets and the ballot box for prom court. The Get Your Prom Tickets Here! sign now had an additional Last Chance! message at the bottom, in case people didn't already know.
On his way to open the library, Bridge wanders down to the lobby early in the morning, kind of absurdly cheerful for someone who hasn't had caffeine in a few days.
"Hey, Sam," he says, making his way over to the table.
"Of course not," Bridge says with a grin. "So, uh. In that case... I'll actually need four tickets. Not that I'm taking three people! But there's two very stubborn people who don't know they're going with each other yet, so," he shrugs.
"I wouldn't have said anything if you wanted to take three people," Sam said, grabbing the tickets. "How people work their relationships around here is none of my business."
"I won't say a word," Sam said, handing Bridge his tickets. "I hope you and your single date enjoy the prom, and I hope the other completely separate pair have fun too."
