Second Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Savannah's letter from the past, and his conversation with her earlier today, had convinced Anders that there was something he had to do tonight that he hadn't done in a long, long time. And he was really past due for doing it.

So yes, that's right, he was in the common room with mixing bowls, baking tins, and a whole lot of boxes of cake batter

Sky was coming back from a walk when he scented something baking. So there he was, peering into the second floor common room. He was very bouncy- unusual for him- and had a big smile on- a smile that said "HELLO WORLD I GOT LAID THIS MORNING".

Anders hadn't actually met Sky yet, but he couldn't turn anyone down for cupcakes tonight, could he? And he totally knew that facial expression, too -- lords knew he'd worn it often enough to recognize it on someone else. "Dude," he said, waving at Sky. "Have some sugar."

"Thanks," said Sky, going over and choosing a cupcake. "I'm Sky, by the way. Sky Tate. I live up on the fourth floor."

"Anders, and this is my floor -- wait, Sky?" Anders repeated. "Like, Bridge's teammate?"

Sky nodded.

"Yeah. Do you know Bridge?"

[cantgetnorelief]

"He's only my roomie and the best best bud ever," Anders said cheerfully. "He's been telling me stuff about you for years."

[redintraining]

"Really? It's a pleasure to meet you, then, Anders," said Sky, before raising an eyebrow. "...You haven't heard too many bad things, I hope?" He was only half teasing.

[cantgetnorelief]

"Honest, dude, I swear, only good things," Anders promised.

[redintraining]

"That's good," said Sky. "I mean, I know he's not really the type to say bad things about people, of course."

[cantgetnorelief]

"Bridge? No way," Anders said firmly. "He's one of the best people I know."

[redintraining]

"Me, too," Sky agreed, finally taking a bite of the cupcake he was holding. "...Wow, these are really good. I wish I could cook."

Troy bounced over to Sky -- he was maaaaybe a little sugar-high at this point. "Hi!" he said, grinning, and then threw his arms around Sky, leaning up to give him a kiss.

"Hey," said Sky, grinning back and returning the kiss. "I should've guessed you'd be here."

[oncourtandstage]

"Well, there are cupcakes!" Troy explained. "I missed cupcakes. Not as much as I missed you, though."

[redintraining]

Sky could feel himself going red and looked away, his smile turning shy.
