3rd Floor Hallways [Thursday Evening]

The dorm hallways make for an excellent lightball court.

Spring Break means there's a lot fewer people around.

Fewer people around means less potential for innocent-bystander-related accidents.

Which, of course, is why Bridge is currently in the third floor hallway with a bunch of lightball gloves.

Z stuck her head out of room 317 and asked hopefully, "Is it can be lightball time now?"

Bridge's only answer is to throw a glove at her.

Sky came down to the third floor, waving to Bridge and Z. Oh yes, it was lightball time. It was serious business.

Z greeted him with an enthusiastic, "You're going down, Tate!"

Bridge throws a glove at him too. "Suit up."

"Please," said Sky, catching the glove and smirking at Z. "You're both going to be going down. This is my favorite game. I always win."

[multiplez]

"I can be in two places at once," Z pointed out. "Or do we wanna make this no-powers?"

[redintraining]

"I think no powers would be fairest," said Sky. "Just in case anybody who doesn't have them wants to join us. Or, you know, anybody with powers that wouldn't give them an advantage."

[flowering_mind]

"What's going on?" Ino asked curiously, on her way up to her room after handwavily walking Tether for a while.

[redintraining]

Sky smiled at Ino.

"We're playing lightball," he said. "It's pretty easy to learn, if you'd like to join us."

"I--" Ino shrugged, grinning. "Sure, I guess. Nothing better to do. What do I have to do?"

"The aim is to hit Sky with the lightball," Z said with a smirk.

Bridge snickers and hands a glove over to Ino. "You'll need this," he says. "Z's... well, she's not wrong. You wanna hit other people. You also wanna catch the ball if you can, but only with the glove, and avoid being hit yourself."

Sky scowled at Z in response.

"Yeah, Bridge has it covered. It can get really fast-paced, but it's really fun, too."

Bridge hits a button on his glove, causing a little glowing green ball to hover an inch or so above his outstretched palm. "I don't think we've ever actually met, though I've seen you around," he admits to Ino. "I'm Bridge," he says, plucking the ball out of the air and throwing it in her direction.

Ino had been in the process of poking at her glove and she squeaked as the ball was tossed in her direction. "I'm Ino," she said, and it was mostly luck that let her bat the ball in Z's direction. "And I don't think I've met you before either," she admitted, with a cheeky grin at Z. "Though, if you're advocating throwing things at people then I'm all for it."
