Teddy's free food senses were tingling.

Not really, but he was looking for Liir to give back the crystal and if that happened to coincide with free food...

"Yes, sir," Andrew replied with a smile. "I'll have a fresh one here in about half a minute."

He pointed at the bowls on the counter. "Help yourself."

Andrew eyes got wide and he gulped, audibly. "I-I promise we're not doing anything bad," he said. "I wouldn't do anything he didn't want to."

"I didn't think you would," Teddy said, holding up an appeasing hand. "Just don't want to talk him down from a couple hundred feet above the school again."

He took a breath.

"I was stupid," he said. "I never meant to hurt him."

Andrew looked over at Liir again. There was more than just admiration in his eyes.

"I'd jump in the Hellmouth before I did anything to hurt him again," he replied. "No one has ever made me so... happy."
