Bart was making pie.

Why Bart was making pie might be a mystery unless you were the owner of a panduppy named Gulliver. But there he was. Whipping cream for the top of a pumpkin pie.

He might be going a little over board, but super speed made a person board easily and the different types of pie kept him busy. He missed his pie class.

Andrew grabbed a plate and walked up to his roomie. "Yes, please!"

Bart giggled and put an entire cherry pie on the plate. "Hi, Andrew!"

Andrew's eyes went wide at the pie. "Whoa! I mean, I like pie, but I think this is bigger than me."

"I made it for you!" Bart replied, grinning. There might be various other pies just laying around. He went a wee bit overboard baking.

"Awww, Bart. You're the bestest roommate ever," Andrew said as he brought the pie up to smell its deliciousness.

His eyes darted about the room. "So I don't have to share?"

Shaking his head, Bart bounced a little. "Nope! I made lots!"

Andrew sat the pie down and went to give his roomie a quick hug. "So what brought on the baking fest?"

"I missed my pie class," Bart replied, rolling out some dough. "And it's fun!"

"So, can you teach me?" Andrew loved cooking, but he hadn't ventured into the realms of pie making. Yet.

Bart paused, thinking it over. "Maaaaaybe." He grinned. "If you let me watch the other Moderately Paced & Mildly Irate movies."

Andrew laughed. "Hey, I ordered a real popcorn popper off Amazon today, so we're set for the movie watching refreshment. Add a little pie into the mix, and I can spend the whole day vegging out and watching movies."

He gave Bart a quizzical look. "The question is, can you sit still long enough to watch the other two?"

"Maybe? If I can read a book at the same time?"

That would be so cool.

"Can you do that?"

"Well, it's either that or play a video game." Or two.

"Sounds good to me!" Andrew picked up his pie and a fork.

"So, you're okay, right? The, um, flu has flown the coup for good?"

Nodding, Bart put dough over a filled peach pie. "Ronan said I was good to go!"
