Cassandra stopped in mid-movement, one leg extended in a long lunge, and looked over. "Hey," she lifted a hand in greeting, watching the other girl curiously.
"Yeah," Cassandra nodded. "I haven't really had much space to stay in shape recently." She shrugged and waved a hand to indicate the roof, "There's lots up here."
Anathema began to twist and turn the various knobs on her telescope, trying to adjust it. "I just assumed this would be the best place to see the stars."
Anathema continued the conversation mostly facing her telescope. "Yes, but this way you can see them more clearly and see ones you can't see with your naked eye."
"Huh," Cassandra said neutrally. "How could they do that?" She didn't object to looking at what you found interesting, but predicting the future? The only person she knew who could do that was Oracle.
"The distances and angles between the stars represent various things depending on their location." Anathema explained, making a notation in her notebook.
