Second Floor Common Room - Tuesday Morning

Meg didn't have class until Wednesday but she didn't want to get in the habit of sleeping in all day so when she woke up she got dressed and decided to check out the common room. It wasn't long before she was digging around in the kitchen and soon after she had eggs, bacon and pancakes cooking on the stove

"Morning! You want some food?" she pointed at the pancakes and bacon. "I've made plenty. Perhaps too much."

"You do raise a good point." Meg said. "I'm Meg Manning, new kid."

[goodgirlmeg]

"It's um...interesting, to say the least." Meg said with a grin. "Already I've had squirrels braid my hair and been accused of being evil by my doppelganger. And from what I've heard that's only the start of the weird."

"But it's a fun kind of weird, right?" Meg asked. "I mean, I don't have to be afraid of walking alone at night do I?"

[goodgirlmeg]

"Well that's good to know." she said. "Though I'd rather not leave my safety in the hands of reporters like Dick."

[goodgirlmeg]

"Well, I knew him at my old school and...let's just leave it at that." Because for all she knew Dick could have changed as a person. She doubted it though.

"I think so. Feminism, debating and communication." Meg had tried to sign up for the most normal-sounding classes. "They offer some weird stuff here."

[goodgirlmeg]

"It's going to take some getting used to." she admitted. "But I'm glad I don't have to take a math class this year."
