The roof, Sunday after sunset

Aug 26, 2007 15:10

There just wasn't words for the relief Hermione felt after hearing radio, followed by Principal Washburn's announcement. She was glad to know that Umbridge was gone, that she wouldn't be hurting anyone anymore, and that she didn't have to worry about being killed at all. That was kind of the biggest relief, honestly.

Normally Hermione wouldn't do this, but Fred and George had packed that care package full of these things, and she knew she wouldn't have any real use for them and she didn't want anything like this around where anyone else could get to them. And this was a celebratory thing, and she supposed if there weren't classes to study for tomorrow...

So as of sunset, Hermione was setting the last of the Weasleys' fireworks off the roof, in a completely safe and hopefully unobtrusive manner.

[Open yay!]
