Gym, Flag Football Practice - Mid Morning

John set up the gym for flag football practice.  There were cones marking lanes for a passing/receiving workshop.  Once everyone arrived, John and Molly demonstrated proper throwing and catching techniques.  Players were then instructed to partner up to try for themselves.  If they had questions or needed tips, John was around.

Chad had a ball in his hand and was ready to go. All he needed was a partner.

"Sure," Chad nodded a little. "I throw hard, though, just to warn ya. I'm working on...not...so much."

"Cool. So, uh...." Chad shrugged and held up the ball, ready to pull back and throw. "Go long, I guess?"

"S'perfect," Chad called back, launching the ball Adam's way.

Looks like Chad only had to jog forward just slightly, and he easily caught it. "You too," he responded back before launching another.

Since tossing a ball back and forth was just so exciting, Chad decided to ask, "You play a lot of football?" while returning another throw.

"A little..." Chad said, catching the ball. "Hey, nice one." He tried to imitate the spiral as best he could on his return. "More regular football than American football, though."

"I like it well enough," Chad caught the ball and shrugged a shoulder. "Jus'....something to do, really..." He considered his grip on the ball a moment before launching it back.
