Alec and Dean had decided that there was no better idea than getting a lot of ice cream, a lot of random toppings, and then making sundaes. They even waited until after lunch (cereal) and made sure to have healthy things too (fruit syrup! jam! graham cracker bits

Dean stuck his tongue out slightly in concentration as he added more whipped cream to his sundae. "You know what we need? Chocolate bars we can smash and sprinkle on top."

"Didn't we get some?" Alec asked, thinking as he poured more chocolate syrup over a pile of nuts.

[saltandammo]

"Dunno." Dean put down the whipped cream and went searching through the bags of stuff they'd bought. "Yes!" he said triumphantly, pulling out a bag of kitkats. "Now all I need is something to smash them with." He sounded really thrilled with the prospect.

"Just don't use anything pointy," Alec said. Yes, that was his idea of safety precautions. "Maybe a spoon?"

"Nah, we need something more... smashy than a spoon." He opened a drawer and pulled out a meat tendorizer hammer. "Yeah! This will do!"

Alec's eyes widened. "Dude, that's perfect," he said, impressed.

"I'm good at impa- impre- impo- I'm good at making do with what I got," Dean said proudly.

He grinned. "Awesome. You want any of this marshmallow stuff?" Alec opened a jar of marshmallow fluff and peered in. "It looks kind of sticky."

"It is," Dean said, putting the chocolate in a ziplock bag and laying it on the counter, then aimed with the hammer, before bringing it down hard on the bag. "Sammy got it in his hair once and Dad had to shave it all off." He didn't mention the part where he'd be the one who put it in his brother's hair.

Alec watched him, thinking Dean was a lot better at this even as a nine year old. "Whoa. Okay, no fluff in the hair." He frowned a little at the jar and stuck a couple fingers in to taste it.

"Do you like it?" Dean asked, bringing the hammer down with enthusiasm on the bag again.

Alec tried to say yes, but his mouth was full of marshmallow fluff - he settled for nodding, and reached out to put a smear of it on Dean's nose.

Dean yelped and jerked back, waving his free hand in an effort to prevent being fluffed. "Ack! No wearing it!"

"As long as it's not in your hair, it's fine!" Alec protested, making another move to wipe it on Dean's shirt.

"Alec!" Dean yelped, flailing and dodging.

Alec cackled and grabbed the jar, gettin a whole handful to smear on Dean wherever he could.
