Lobby: All Day

Posters had whee handwavily gone up in the dorms and town announcing two Student Council sponsored events during Spring Break.  The first being Free Coffee Day on Wednesday, and the second, an Ice Carnival all day Thursday.

When people came down to the lobby on Wednesday, it looked like a set from the coffee shop in Buddies had moved in.  In reality

Isabel snagged an extra large mocha with extra whipped cream and a banana nut muffin and found a seat on one of the couches. She opened her notepad and started reviewing the list of things to do before tomorrow's ice carnival.

Peter found a seat by Isabel. "Seems to be going well so far, hmm?"

"It's caffiene and sugar," she chuckled. "Of course it's going well. I think the only way it wouldn't would be in a small pack of rats decided to race about the muffins. But even then? Most people would probably think they were other students."

"True. Though if a bunch of students suddenly turn into rats, I'm not sure I want to know about it," Peter replied, laughing.

"Jack spent last weekend as a mouse," Isabel shrugged. "He was wee and cute and amazingly? Still a flirt. Radio says he's changed back now so that's good at least."

"Definitely good," Peter agreed. "Wonder if the mouse's unnatural fondness for cheese stuck?" He grinned. "It seems like it had been a while since a student turned into an animal. Good to know we're still on schedule."

"I don't know. I mostly fed him fruits and veggies. Although Irulan gave him a cookie." She raised an eyebrow at Peter, "If we're on schedule does that mean we're going to be invaded this weekend?"

"I certainly hope not," Peter replied. "Willow would be furious her holiday would be ruined."

"Oh? Are you guys planning anything fun?" Isabel asked. "Or is it just general relaxation and lazing about?"

"Apparently it's Purim?" Peter said, still rather unsure what that meant. "So there is food and dressing up, and it's Willow so I think she's planning lots of both."

"Of course. Who needs restraint?" asked the girl that had already started shopping for Christmas 2007. "I hope she gets a quiet weekend then so you guys can enjoy yourselves."

Peter laughed. "I'll be surprised if it doesn't involve the whole school by the time she's done. But thank you."

"It sounds like it'll be fun. If she needs help, tell her to call me," Isabel offered. "I've got something going on Friday night but the rest of my weekend is free."

"I'll do that," Peter agreed. He grinned at Isabel. "I'd think you'd have enough planning for this week in today and tomorrow."

"True. But being a minion is totally different," she pointed out. "Then I just have to do what I'm told."

"Point," Peter said. "And find a costume."
