Aly turned around from her perch hanging onto the cupboards and waved. "I like coffee!" she said hopefully. She didn't, but it was a step on the way to hot chocolate.

She watched him carefully, scooting along the counter to get closer to him. "Can I have some, Jim? Or hot choklit?"

Jim gave her a surprised look. "How do you know my name? And I guess I can make hot chocolate . . ." Coffee was bad for kids or something.

Jim peered at the little girl, the carafe hovering in midair, forgotten. "Aly. Like, the teacher Aly."

"On the doors!" Aly replied. "We wanted to see what was in the rooms." She nodded.

Jim was very glad weetiny teachers hadn't broken into his room last night. Because there were things weetinies shouldn't see.

"And what did you see?"

Okay, she was kinda cute. Definitely deserving of hot chocolate. Which he located with a couple sniffs.
