Parker was talking as she entered the common room. "And this is the Second Floor Common Room, which is the best, of course. Anyone will tell you that. It got blown up once, but then it was fixed."

She flipped on the TV set and started looking for Smile Time or a monster movie.

And possibly other students to inflict wee tiny grown ups on.

Emma had walked around town for a while, but that had been boring and so she'd come up to the school where there were people, and then she'd just followed the sounds and thoughts of manymany peoples, yay! Maybe they would want to play?

Deciphering this from kidspeak, Parker decided that Emma couldn't hear everything, but maybe some things. "Yes, I'm being quiet thinky. That's the way I am. Force of habit." She stared back at Emma, and wondered if it was *every* adult in town. "Hmm. Emma? Did you walk here?"

Emma nodded. "Ya-huh. This is were ev'ryone plays! The peoples I saw were littles. Much littler than I," insisted the four year old. "I'm almost as big as you is!"
