If the family member is currently a member of the undead, do they return all the way to life or just as they are now, but with a "Get Out of Hell for 48 Hours" pass?

If they're currently a member of the undead who could see their family member at any time but have chosen not to (like a Buffyverse vampire) then they wouldn't qualify for the plot.

But if we're talking Bishop's demon-dead who can't easily leave Hell, it's up to you whether you want to fully restore them to life or not. The important bit is that they'll have a physical existence and can visit with their living loved one in Fandom, which would be true whether they're guzzling yarbarah or not. So go with whichever you think would work best for the characters!

Yup, asking on behalf of the MAGIC COCK-RING FANDOM, particularly my girl's mom who doesn't/can't leave Hell, since she's busy ruling the Harpies. And is demon-dead-dead not Guardian-Demon-Dead-Wandering-Around dead.
