Alex Armstrong is from a long line of alchemists. He's a huge, burly man with characteristic eyelashes and while he's intimidating looking because he's very muscular and freakishly tall, he's a huge softy at heart. He's not scared of crying when something touches him and he's known to hug people too enthusiastically. Most of all however, he's recognised by the manly pink sparks.
