Before she has to go to class, Hermione stops by the office, knocking lightly at the door.

Thursday looked up at the sound of approaching footsteps. "Yes?"

"Hello," she says. "I'm Hermione Granger, I'm going to be in your class."

"Pleased to meet you. I'm Thursday Next. I must say, I wasn't expecting to hear familiar accents around here."
