Like the last time they covered this topic, a handwavy e-mail was sent round letting the students know to wear clothes they wouldn't mind getting messy. Also like last time, there's a table out by the dear God not lit campfire -- but it's not covered with cream pies. Xander's pretty sure he's not going to ever get dry today. Given the temperature, he's actually okay with that.

He grabs a balloon and lobs it back towards River.

Willow didn't have a balloon to throw.

She did, on the other hand, have a water pistol.

She aimed at the back of Xander's head and squirted.

Xander dodged behind... crap, there wasn't anything to dodge behind. He settled for rolling and diving for the nearest tub of balloons, and launching one at her from the ground.

Willow squeaked as the balloon hit her on the shoulder. She dove for her backpack, trying to fire at Xander the whole time.

Xander took a shot to the face and went down, not dirty. Not that he actually *fell* down; he just dropped and have an exaggerated moan. "Murdered! By my own BFF! Woe!"
