"Woo hoo!" Molly said as she started up the simulator. Once they were 'flying', she went a bit wild with the controls, just to get a feel for them and to see what the simulator would do.

"Sure," Anakin replied, grinning. "Push the throttle all the way to the right or left and the ship'll spin. Make sure you're also accelerating in a combat situation, though, or else you haven't actually moved in space, you're just spinning and that's a really stupid way to die."

"No, not a spin," Molly said, even as she made the ship spin to the left. "A flippy. Where the ship flips and spins front to back so that it is facing the way it was going."

"Yes, that!" Molly said with a grin. "Wheeee! Flippy!"
When he repeated the maneuver, she watched what he did with the controls and then tried it herself. It took her a few tries with directions from Anakin to figure out how to do it properly and her first flip was clunky and slow. She tried it a few more times until she got the hang of it.

Anakin tried to smile and not look like he was feeling sick at all from the twists and spins that Molly had put the sim through. "Sure thing," he said, climbing back into the machine. "It's not that hard," he assured her. "Just like riding a horse with a lot of buttons."

Alanna gave Anakin a look that severly questioned his sanity. "Have you ever been on a horse that goes this fast? Also, you want something for that hangover of yours?" She smirked a little and hit what she hoped was the right buttons.

"I'm not great with living creatures," Anakin admitted, turning off one of the buttons Alanna had pressed and flipping a different switch. "We're ready to go now," he said. "You just have to push the throttle--" he pointed at it, "--forward. And yes, Force, yes, for the hangover cure." He stuck out his lower lip. "Obi-Wan won't tell me how to get rid of one on my own."
Ask Anakin if you want him to sit in the instructor's chair--if not, he'll just let you learn by trial and error.
