Detention - 06/10

Jun 10, 2006 05:09

The Danger Shop, when students enter, looks like a somewhat rough part of an older part of a town. There were a few old cars around, one of which was noticably red - noticably mainly due to the fact that everything was in black and white - including the kids themselves and if the Danger Shop can't do that, then *handwave* now it can - save for a ( Read more... )

"So," Becky called waving idly to get attention. "For today, you're not...whoever you are. You're someone else. Every good girl of Old Town knows that sometimes to get the job done, they've got to put on a little makeup or wear a short skirt. Most of the time, actually."

She shook her head. "Anyway. Over there," she pointed to a table laden with clothing, "you'll find costumes. Put something on, and then get into character. You have to convince us you're really doing it right, though."

[Costumes are as follows: Muskrat, Elvis, Navy uniform, French maid, incredibly inaccurate ninja costume, incredibly inaccurate pirate, Catholic school girl, cowboy, incredibly inaccurate vampire costume, cowgirl, hula girl, master/dominatrix, bridal gown, Lolita outfit, birdcage, fairy. Muskrat and birdcage are for people played by Jensen Ackles, for no real reason other than Miho-mun and I have a weird thing about Jensen. Mod costumes at will with the knowledge that it should be if not entirely then mostly in black and white. And please check to see what's been taken before selecting a costume.]

Parker was more than a little incredulous. "This is *not* happening." She stared at the pile of clothes with complete disbelief, then picked up the Catholic schoolgirl outfit, studying it and shaking her head. "Okay, this is giving me flashbacks."

"I think it is," Cameron told Parker and it would be dumb for Cameron to smirk at the outfit she picked, so he didn't. For the most part. He did quickly snag up the Navy uniform as that seemed the most logical and less painful choice.

Tyler decides he has to go for Elvis, which is a white fringed jumpsuit with gray sequins on the back. He tries to push his hair into a pompadour to match the costume. "Thank ya, thank ya very much," he said; his southern accent was actually not that bad.

"Didn't know you have it in you," Cameron grinned as he buttoned up his vest and put on the hat. Realising he had to be in role, he straightened up and saluted Elvis!Tyler. "Major Mitchell. Reporting for duty, sir."

Tyler gave his normal half-smile, then forced it into an Elvis-y grin. "My manager, his name is, ah, Major Tom. No relation."

Still doing the accent.

"I'd watch out for him, sir. I've heard rumours about possible treason. He might run off to go inspire David Bowie," Cameron said with a small smirk.

"I think that works for you, Tyler," Peter said with a grin.. "Always wanted to be a cowboy, I suppose." He grabbed the costume and hoped to find a Red Ryder beebee gun.

Gwynn had picked up the leather dominatrix costume and was looking at it with some confusion. She held up the pirate costume as well and looked back and forth between them.

She finally decided on the purate costume.

Peter began to bow to Gwynn, then remembering the need to get into character, he tipped his hat to her and said in a bad Western accent, "mornin', ma'am."

Gwynn had put on the pirate costume and felt even more confused. She looked from what she was wearing to what Peter was wearing and then shook her head.

"What is going on?"

"We're being punished for poor behavior. I suppose by humiliation given some of the costumes?" Peter explained.

Gwynn was happy she had put on the pirate costume and not the strappy dominatrix costume, then. The costume she had chosen was not as skin tight as the dominatrix costume seemed to be.

"But I didn't do anything wrong," Gwynn said in confusion. "I have been very careful not to do anything against the school's rules."

"Nothing at all?" Peter asked, remembering the slightly suspicious behavior over the fact he was a Stickbug.

She said she hadn't done anything wrong according to the rules of the school so she was able to respond honestly with, "No, nothing at all."

Which was true because as soon as she had found out the distressing news that Peter was a Stickbug, she had reviewed the school's handbook and had found no mention that it was against the rules to steal the underwear of other campers and run them up the flagpole or make them appear in the Dean's office.
