Because she wasn't. With that whole 'someone died in here' thing and the fact that there seemed to be a lot of people dying right now, Annie would pretty much rather be anywhere not here. Was there going to be fighting? She hoped there wasn't fighting. She wasn't that scrappy.
'Scrappy' was probably the wrong word but she kept telling herself that anyway.

When they got to what she was pretty sure their destination was, Kitty poked her head through the wall just to make sure she had the right place. When she saw she did, she stepped out through the wall with the others and let go of their hands, since allowing everyone to be able to touch things might be helpful.
