Flight Club [after classes]

There was a decidedly sulky Ben in the front of the classroom with his left arm in a sling.

Stupid tiny rancors.

"So this weekend was...eventful," he said dryly. "I'm glad the fog is gone. Today is Tahiri's choice for flying options because I can't get into a cockpit for another few days."

Like you were going to fly awesome ships that Ben can't.

Momoko mingled, considering the ship options today. She was totally itching to try a helicopter, since Reno liked them so much, and the speed of the A-wing almost made up for the very tiny cockpit. Choices, choices.

But really, now that the fog was gone she was totally wanting a real flight.

Urban or rural setting, as Tahiri mentioned. Mmm. Helicopters.

Which aren't as astral as X-Wings. So Ben didn't care at all that people got to fly them when he couldn't. Really. Just ask him.

Unlike half her relatives, Leia felt fine mainly due to having played with herself not dirty omg, so she was eyeing the A-Wing with great interest. Her father -- no, the other one -- would probably have a heart attack if he knew she was going to fly a fighter. Even if it was just simulated.

Only one of whom is doing a credible impression of a three year old.

The one who was not doing a credible impression of a three-year-old was also being very nice and not pointing out to the one who was that he was . . . acting like his age in her timeline.

Because Tahiri was nice like that . . . but not so nice that she wouldn't take her turn in the sim for both scenarios, no.

"A-Wing interceptor?" Leia said to Tahiri. "Interesting ship. I've never seen anything like it. Is it from your time?"

She had to wonder now if it would be a bad plan to take the technical readouts of some of these ships back home and pass them to her father. They could be useful!

Tahiri gave Leia a quick once-over, because if one more member of that family was in a sling this week she was going to be very put out, although less so than Anakin. Not spotting any injuries, and definitely no sling, she relaxed a bit and tapped a finger against her lips, thinking. Starfighter history wasn't exactly a hobby of hers, but she'd heard enough from the Fleet mechanics in the leadup to the Ebaq 9 campaign to piece things together. "It's from before my time. A little after yours, though."

Like . . . post-Battle of Yavin a little after hers.

She smiled slightly. "Hi, Leia. Got through your first taste of Fandom invasion all right, I see."

Who probably wants to try out the A-Wing sim.

Anakin totally wanted to try out the simulation. He'd also really appreciate his family members not going out and getting whomped around.

He was pretty sure that the simulation was the only thing he'd get his way on today.
