Drake nodded. "He was a hero who fought for the people of England," he said. "Some early sources say he was a commoner, but later on they added the noble twist. Instead of toadying to the king like the other nobles, he rebelled."

As class was letting out, Dinah came by with Tony on his ribbon leash. He immediately started sniffing around the doorway over to Drake.

"Hi, are you Professor Dèmon?" she asked, keeping a wary eye on Tony. "Um, sorry Tony wasn't in class today. He's a tiger." And awaited the inevitable joke.
