The class was being held in an actual classroom today just as a precautionary measure. After all, if people got into the lesson, he didn't need wanderers by wondering what the hell he was teaching the kids. Hence, the classroom.

She wasn't intending on an extended discussion, but Fiona did feel the need to swing by after class for one thing.

As the class had certainly brightened her day a little.

Loki had no idea why he was being thanked but hey, he wasn't going to pass up a compliment. "No problem. Glad to have helped." However he'd helped.

She eyed him thoughtfully for a moment before grinning just a little. It was still mostly fake, but there was a touch of genuine amusement.

"Listened to radio, or just guessing?"

"Guessing," he admitted with a small shrug. "I'm hit or miss with the radio. Sometimes I listen, sometimes I don't."

"I figured. Lack of a snicker. But yeah, swearing was absolutely perfect for this morning."

She didn't seem bothered by the idea that he would have, or that he'd guessed. But now that she was standing there, she hung in the doorway.

"So, um... is there really another angel on the island?"

As much as she liked Maron, she thought it might be best if she checked in with Loki on this, especially since they'd actually met according to the broadcast last night.

Loki smirked and said, "That's what he says, at least. Could be a faker, though, you know? Who the fuck knows."

Loki knew but still.

"He's not as cool as me."

That got a roll of her eyes, but she grinned afterward.

"Obviously. I doubt that's possible, really."

...yes, she liked Loki. She was, however, teasing just a little.

"Avoid or, um, talk to him. In your opinion?"

"I don't really know a lot about him," he said honestly. "He's new, he's got some vague agenda and he's fucking cryptic. So, it might be a difficult conversation."

Fiona nodded. No warning, which she thought Loki would have given her if he'd thought it was important. So it was just a matter of choice, then.

"I can do difficult," she said. Her shoulder shook for a minute.

"Especially after today's class, I think."

"I don't doubt that you can," he said and laughed. "He's supposed to be hanging around the church. An angel in a fucking church. Who'd have thought, right?"

"Un-fucking-believable," Fiona said with quite obviously feigned shock and another grin.

"Thanks."

Then, not wanting to bother him anymore than necessary, she swung around from her perch in the doorway and made to leave.

Since Loki had treated her with coffee yesterday (sure, that could totally count toward being treated to), Daisy decided to meet the favour with coffee cake as she came in toward the end of his class for the ritual feeding.

"Morning, Loki! How'd it go?"

"I taught a class on swearing," he said happily. "It went fucking awesome."

"And lucky them," said Daisy with a chuckle, "taught by a bloody fucking expert in the field."
