After pinning some sample works to the blackboard, Claire put the usual array of paints, chalk, pencils, paper and crayons (and a few cheap cameras) on the supplies table, then sat down to wait for the club to show up

Oh, this was a subject Angela could definitely work with. People were always a favourite with her.

She snagged some pencils and flipped to a new page of her sketchbook as she contemplated who she could draw here.

Katchoo got a large-format sketchbook set up on an easel and wondered if anyone would let her draw them.

She didn't think she could get away with naked portraits here, but . . .
