When they students enter the Danger Shop, the find themselves on the edges of a swamp at night. John, as usual, was leaning against the parked Impala waiting for them.

"Sorry about the missed class last week. There was a power outage in the Danger Shop here that made it impossible to carry out today's assignment.

It was gross, and Romeo fought an urge to jerk his t-shirt up over his nose and mouth. "It's getting louder," he observed.

"I know." Romeo gave into temptation and jerked his t-shirt up over the collar of his sweater. He looked like an idiot, but he could breathe again. "How are you with a flamethrower?"

"Never used one before," he admitted. "I've used guns but never one that actually shoots flames. You?"
