The school gym is transformed. There's cool lights, decorations (including non-tacky streamers), and tables and chairs near the doors, forming a dance floor in the middle of the gym. Kiki heads out to the dance floor. No need for a date for THIS dance.

"Come on, girls!" she yells to those standing about. Inwardly, she's wondering who she is and what has been done with the REAL Kiki.

Maybe it was something in the punch.

Jaye's not much for dancing (at least not without a lot of booze. A LOT), but she'll laugh and watch and take plenty of pictures.

Kiki, a complete lightweight with no experience with alcohol whatsoever and only a glass of punch in her, is out groovin' it on the dance floor, and not particularly caring who sees. Thus, Jaye has some good fodder for laughter.

Kiki tractably lets Harry lead her off the dance floor and to a chair.

She fans herself with her hand a little. "Whew, I don't know - I just suddenly really wanted to dance to that song."

She turns as red as her dress. "Oh no," she says. "I did something embarrassing, didn't I? I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to - please tell me I didn't make a complete idiot of myself!"
